Before any construction operations begin, the latest version of the approved architectural plan and safety and fire guidelines must be received from the Electronic Services Offices.
To avoid rework, it is recommended that from the very beginning of construction operations, you select one of the fire safety service providers on the Fire Department Vendor List as a consultant to implement the organization’s safety guidelines.
The selected consulting company, which is selected by the owner, is required to supervise all stages of construction operations, including architecture, safety and fire facilities, in accordance with safety guidelines, and to visit the project at least once a month. The relevant reports must be prepared in writing and approved by the owner or employer, and a copy must be provided to the owner.
The design of fire alarm and extinguishing systems, ventilation and smoke control, and metal fire resistance must be approved by the contractor and the fire department before implementation.
To prevent architectural violations, which are often irreparable, it is recommended to obtain a certificate of non-violation from the organization after the completion of the reinforcement and ceilings.
Any changes to architectural plans at any stage of construction must be requested from the Fire Department and its approval must be obtained so that there are no problems in the process of issuing a building safety certificate.
The order of the companies on the vendor list does not affect their quality or technical level. The owner is required to select the company of his choice from this list after a thorough review and receipt of the price inquiry.
The equipment listed in the vendor list has various qualities, and the organization’s criteria for including them in the list is only to review valid national or international standards. To increase efficiency and reduce maintenance costs, it is recommended to conduct necessary research on the quality of equipment in previous projects.
The fees charged by the Fire Department are completely transparent and are collected only upon issuing an official invoice. Charging additional fees, such as scheduling a visit or sending an email, is illegal and violators will be dealt with legally if observed.
Companies that are members of the Fire Department Vendor List but do not have an electronic portfolio can only send their project documentation via priority mail.
VendorList members are required to comply with all current laws of the country when contracting with contractors, including obtaining safety qualification certificates from relevant committees.
The fire vendor list is only related to the safety services defined in the first table and cannot be generalized to other safety and fire-related services.
The design qualification of the fire extinguishing systems mentioned in this list is only for conventional water systems and does not include special water, gas, foam, etc. systems.
Owners and employers must purchase their required safety and firefighting equipment from products approved by the organization, listed on the Tehran Fire Department website. Requiring consultants or contractors to purchase a specific brand is considered a violation, and if such cases are observed, owners can report the matter to the organization in writing.
