Checking the conventional fire alarm control panel
Conventional fire alarm control panels are more of a traditional type of fire protection system. These types of systems are analog and despite the advancement of technology, conventional panels are still the most ideal option in many cases.
Conventional alarm system protects by dividing the desired structure into fire zones. Also, all zones are connected to the fire alarm control panel.
Conventional Siemens control panels are available in Cerberus model and with the number of zones 2-12. Using this addressable fire alarm panel, the set of parameters related to the detector in the loops can be changed according to time and conditions.
The conventional system works by using an increase in electrical current to inform the control panel of changes in the atmosphere such as heat and smoke. The starting devices in a certain zone are set in a certain range, and when things like smoke or heat rise above that range, the electric current increases and sends a signal to the control panel.
