Review of Tornatec series fire control panel (JPX)
TORNATECH fire control panel series (JPX) is used in the construction and design of the jockey pump.
This pump is used to prevent fire pumps from starting due to leakage or pressure drop.
The TORNATECH series fire control panel is designed and manufactured according to the latest NFPA20, UL LISTED, FM APPROVED requirements. It also has a switch (automatic, manual, off).
This pump is used to prevent the starting of fire pumps due to leakage or pressure drop. Usually, the size of the jockey pump is calculated based on the elimination of leaks and at least 25 GPM (minimum flow required by a sprinkler). The pressure of these pumps is also estimated based on the maximum pressure required by the system.
It is allowed to use jockey pump at the same time as the pump with diesel and electric engine. Tornatech company designs and supplies its control panels based on the standards of the world.
