Inspection of diesel fire pump
Diesel fire pump is considered a category of fire pumps and they are used in systems and places where access to electricity is difficult or there is a possibility of power outage.
The proper and timely operation of these diesel pumps and being independent from the power grid will provide high reliability for the timely operation of firefighting systems.
Diesel fire pumps have international approvals such as UL/FM and NFPA20. Therefore, in many fire fighting and fire extinguishing systems, international rules and standards suggest the use of diesel fire pumps to the designers.
One of the most important advantages of these pumps, which makes it different from other fire pumps, is that when the electric cables are damaged due to fire, fire fighting diesels can continue working for at least 8 hours.
