review Dry Pipe Valve
The dry pipe valve of the sprinkler system (Dry Pipe Valve) is used as a controller of the dry sprinkler system. The water pressure in the inlet part and the air or nitrogen pressure in the upper part of the valve reach a balance and the valve closes.
As soon as the sprinklers are activated in the protected environment, the air flow is discharged and the pressure balance between the two sides of the dry milk valve is disrupted and the water pressure causes the valve to open.
A dry valve, like a wet valve, sends a signal to the central fire alarm system as soon as it is activated. In order to fill the air line between dry milk and sprinklers, auxiliary equipment such as air compressor, air flow equalizer (AMD), etc. should be used.
To start and put the valve back into service after each operation, it is necessary to open the valve inspection valve and also reset the valve with a special wrench.
DN100 and DN150 TYCO brand DPV-1 dry pipe valves are various dry pipe valves that automatically control the water in the dry pipe fire extinguishing sprinkler system by means of one or more sprinklers.
