• Butterfly Valve

This valve model is from the family of wafer-type gearbox butterfly valves  (Wafer)  and has an indicator that is equipped with a Monitoring Switch   for monitoring through the central panel. By using this feature and by sending an electrical contact, operators and system maintenance experts are informed of whether the line is open or closed (sprinkler zone). This is considered important in the design of sprinkler lines based on BS5306 and EN12485 standards. If the specific operational direction requires emptying or shutting off the water of one floor, when this valve is closed by the operator, this is shown on the central panel and after the operation until the valve is opened again and the system returns to the previous active state. Do not return, the sign of the inactive or closed zone will still appear on the panel, thus reducing the possibility of human error and inadvertently closing the stream.

• Flow switch

The flow switch has a plastic screen to detect the water flow.  When this screen is placed inside the pipe and the water flow passes through it, both when the sprinklers are activated and when the system is tested, a signal is generated to show the activated area. The fire extinguishing system is sent to the fire alarm panel.

• Test Drain Valve

The test and drain valve has three closed modes, test mode with 1.2 inch size and drain mode with 1 or 2 inch size. Normally, this valve is closed. If you need to test the system, the valve is placed in the test mode, i.e. 2.1 inch size, which is equivalent to the activation of a sprinkler, the current passing through the flow switch causes a signal to be sent to the central fire alarm panel, and the entire system is tested. Obviously, in this case, if there is a wet alarm even at the beginning of the riser, its mechanical alarm will sound and the pressure switch will also send a signal to the central panel. It is also possible to test the performance of fire pumps with this. In case of fire, after activating the sprinklers and extinguishing the fire, in order to replace the sprinklers, first the butterfly valve is closed, then the test and drain valve is in the empty state, the water in the corresponding zone pipes is drained, the sprinkler is replaced and the butterfly valve is open. will be Also, this valve has a glass display (Sight Glass) to observe and ensure the flow of water inside the pipes. It is worth mentioning that the size of the drain valve is determined based on the table below.

• Pressure Gauge

In order to observe and monitor the amount of pressure in each floor or each zone of the sprinkler system, it is recommended to use special pressure gauges for the fire fighting system in the valve control zone package.
